Kelley is also an esteemed name on the forum (Tim, Rockford, and I also recognize Kelly, but just barely).
Ahem.

ParticipantREI has some good small first aid kits – I have a really small one that fits in my frame bag or hydration pack and a bigger one that velcros nicely to a rack or top tube.

If Bikenetics were closer to where I live, I’d try them out too.
I live less than a mile from Spokes. But Bikenetic is my LBS.

That is because they know the longer you ride the less likely you are to actually want to give it back! Jan has been known to say things like “oh, I’ll just order that in your size …. you can see if you like it …. if you don’t like it I’ll sell it to someone else.” And of course that never happens. Don’t ask me how I know …
The words “Just take it home for a week or two, see if you like it” may have been used when the Space Horse arrived at Bikenetic
Then I almost crashed it on the first test ride

ParticipantYou: Person in car in the right lane peacefully waiting to make the left from Valley onto West Glebe.
Me: Not-awake cyclist in the left lane that actually wanted to be in the right lane and meandered in front of you as we started turning left. Sorry about that. Thanks for not running me over.

ParticipantI RODE MY BIKE AND IT WAS AWESOME!
But you know that already.
About the awesome part, anyway.
You might have not known that I rode my bike.
But I did.

ParticipantI think this poll is broken. It only lets me answer for first breakfast.
I don’t think it knows about second breakfast, Pip.

I’m pretty well sold on the Straggler; it’s just a matter of figuring out the sizing, which is long in the Straggler. No shop around here seems to stock it, either. Bikenetic will help me get it worked out, I’m sure. Top men, you know.
Top men indeed.
Interesting, the Straggler has a shorter wheelbase than the Space Horse. (Plus taller seat tube, shorter stack, longer reach. Which if the seat tube is longer and the angle is the same shouldn’t the stack be AGH TOO MUCH MATH THINGS. IT’S PURPLE AND SPARKLY AND HAS WHEELS.)

Participant“We make our bikes in batches of 12.
We call these batches SERIES.
Every SERIES is different from any other.
Each bike within a SERIES is named, see below!
There will be just 4 SERIES produced each year.
The bikes are all made in Chelmsford, England.”SERIES!

Umm, so what’s your pit stop? Just wondering, no real reason.
That would be the Del Ray/VeloCity pit stop

ParticipantCan it be 60F and misty every morning? That was most excellent.
Got to ride with americancyclo from Crystal City to the tidal basin, then ran into Ricky at Penn Ave

…oh, and I guess going to work afterwards, since it wouldn’t make sense to take a day off from work on Bike to WORK Day
Pft. I TOTALLY am taking the day off to celebrate.
I’m gonna hit Crystal City at 7 AM and then head over to Rosslyn to help out. You might see me around with a WABA trailer after that
