3/18/24 Last day..as it gets warm, there are even more lost winter items…passed by a few gloves but stopped for this hat (& was honked at even though I was in the bike lane).

3-17-24 SNORT: I stopped to take a picture of a beautiful tulip magnolia and was going to say something about allergies and pretty flowers, but then the Arkansas Razorback jumped in front of me. I am sure if he was not made of stone, he would SNORT.!

At DE State Park called Fresh Pond, there is a plaque explaining the origin of the park name. On the plaque is a page from a short history of the state of Delaware published in 1870. It states that the fresh pond had some fishes living in it but the other pond, the salt pond, could not support fish. I had never before thought of salt as a TOXIN.
