1/18 – it looks like the Police are looking for whomever STOLE all the bikes from this Pentagon City CaBi
Might’ve been an inside job.
Thanks for the update.
The links seem to be working. Are you seeing some specific broken links?
Anyone laid eyes on the Bluemont Connector near Fairfax Dr in Ballston? Was it cleared?
Both W&OD and 4MR are reported cleared.
Can report that Rte 50 trail hasn’t been touched and is a treacherous mix of frozen ruts and foot prints. Best place to ride is the virgin snow if there is any.
Bike lanes in Court House on Clarendon are a mixed bag, too. Many also have not been touched by plows or sweepers. Best to take the lane of dry pavement in the auto lanes.
Ok, Accepted. We will see if we show up later.
I’m on Team 3, but don’t see the Strava group, don’t see us on the Team Leaderboard, and I’ve disappeared from the individual leaderboard. I suspect those things might be related.
Nadine, do you need to push a button or something?
FYI, Starduster and I are meeting with Arlington County Board member Takis Karantonis later this month to find out how we can formally start the process to get this bridge dedicated to Pete.
Chime in here if you want to help the campaign once we learn more about the next steps.
We’re still working through some glitches. Seems that some posts to a thread lock it up and remove it from view. I can quickly approve it and the thread will reappear. Not sure why this is happening. For now, just msg me if something goes missing, and I’ll approve it asap. Thanks for your patience.
Cool bike shop in Steamboat Springs!
I am all for simplicity. Since we’re still in the first week, I think we can just make it a single metric of Total Food Rescues, and then just mark them with the #foodrescue hashbrown. One rescue ride = one point.
Does anyone strongly object to this change?

Sounds like a great route to rack up miles for Freezing Saddles!
Henry and I discussed this and decided that yes, doing two runs is allowed, when needed, but should be a last resort. We don’t want to encourage people to make two trips just for the sake of maximizing miles, when it could be an inconvenience to the staff who have to be present to receive food twice. But of course, if you could only manage it in two trips, then that’d be better than sending a car to pick up the rest!
Agreed, for the sake of the pointless prize, we’ll allow multiple runs of the same delivery, but only the parts when carrying food.
