Does it count if you start at the ridge road climb at broad branch and go clockwise to the Ross descent, but instead of completing the segment back to broad branch immediately, head north and later come back and finish the segment on beach drive? That’s kind of how Arlington Loops work, but I seem to be missing a loop and was wondering if that climb was for naught so I don’t do it again if that’s the case.

Could you help me figure out where to contact you with a list of the train stations I’ve visited. I don’t see how to do that on the new BAFS. The leaderboards vs. your leaderboard here on the 14th are about 12-13 visits different! I may have lost a bonus point because while I got a photo at the beginning and on the train I forgot to get it at the end station because stuff was going on there. But otherwise I should have 16 or 17 spikes.

I don’t know why it’s not obvious how to message personally now.

Why don’t I see Fire Bad on the pointless prize list of leaderboards as well as this link on the forum? Makes it a little hard to access for me.

Am I missing it somehow?

1/11/24 goldenspike Crystal City VRE The last time I rode it they asked you use a bungie cord to hold the bike. Maybe I’ll go on ride down to Fredericksburg one of these weekends and take the new Nice Bridge to MD.

Oops! Forgot the stupid train doesn’t run on weekends and I’m not sure if you’re allowed to use the bridge “features” on Friday. What a bunch of crap. The time when you’d actually want to use the train for biking, it’s not available. Perhaps Amtrak is available, but it’s going to be $$ and you have to pay extra for the bike.

1/7/24 golden spike Capitol South to Ashburn Metro and W&OD home late at night

I was finally able to sign in here so I’m going to try a quick upload.

I’m hoping to at least get 2 bonus points as this was a long, irritating trip. Commanders game and long stuck train due to metro work. I got the start point and a couple of shots on the train, but I had bathroom issues at Ashburn and other people needing help from the station manager. I got distracted and didn’t get the end shot – but I’ll add a pic of my route.
