And I get frost bite crawling around on my hands and knees in the bitter cold last night looking for the Calvin Ball under that piano-looking thingy that’s part of The Ripple by the “water” treatment plant.

Note to self: Got to move quicker on these.

Gersh dern it! Again, I meant to only like Henry’s post, although I don’t like frostbite!

Shreve intersection is right before the big hill where you jog up to Virginia Lane on the WOD. Sounds like you were looking under a lot of poles. Not to worry, not only was the spot less than a mile from my house, but now I have the pleasure of making 3 more? 4 more? Rumor is that a few of them may cross state borders…

That’s why I intended to just slack and find it, further complicating the maths! It was a real quandary to not just enjoy the tailwind, but I enjoy the hunt. Miss Geocashing since it got weird.

Yes, that hill occurred to me at some point, after or before the ride, so I just didn’t go far enough. Duh, the cold addled my brain.

Not sure if I’ll fight this headwind tonight since it seems uncertain if any CB’s or Hobbes are currently in play.

Gosh, I must have passed you. I think I looked under most of the power poles before 29 and slowed down for a lot along 4 mile run south of Columbia Pike (By then I was probably getting hypothermia because Shreve isn’t even that far south, right?). It was just too cold for me! Surprised at all the cyclists out tonight.

Don’t you have to make a bunch of them now?!

I was going to leave hot chocolate in mine, but decided if it took awhile our tiny neighborhood residents might find it first. Congrats! It’s all in the timing!

Speaking of being bad at technology, I’m out on the trails and recently I’ve been having a really tough time findingthe Calvin Ball posts. I just don’t see them anymore. Any suggestions? I’ll try a search.

Ha! I was wondering. My first thought (when I misread it) was the Federal Communications Commission. A coffee cluber will get it whilst I sleep.

Having trouble posting. I keep getting a message about needing one more character?!

And if the Freezing Saddles realm accepts it I decree you must bring it back to Virginia in the next hiding!

I need another hint – I thought I had a lead on FFC, but now I can’t find the search. Maybe someone else already has it?

My suggestion would be to consider upping the cap to 200 or 150. That would make ringers a little more relevant to teams, challenge most people, but not make some teams always win from outliers. An even bigger issue for me was distribution of ringers. There were teams with only one and other teams with three (if I remember correctly). Just an unrequested thought :p Maybe that’s hard to control. But a cap seems like a partial solution so I don’t hate it. Thinking out loud. Oh, I don’t know . . .
