Hi Karen,

I am sorry to say this, but your BAFS tags qualify as objects brought from home. So, it’s a violation of Rule 14.

Rule 14: Let’s stick to things you find out there during your ride, not things you bring or make yourself (unless otherwise specified). Example 1: Don’t build a pile of dirt, snow, or rocks if the Wordle clue is “MOUND”; Example 2: if the Wordle clue is “FRUIT” don’t bring a piece of fruit with you on your ride, and take a photo of that. This takes the fun out of looking for things, which is the whole point.

Could you please delete the hashtag from your Strava post?

Thank you, consularrider, for respecting rule 14. And selfies are fine according to rule 10.

Rule 10: It has to be a picture you took. You don’t need to be in the photo, but if you are in it, it either has to be a selfie or done with a self-timer.

However, you cannot be a word/topic/object of the day. If it is a selfie, let it be, for example, a selfie with an aging object in the background. That object, whatever it is according to your creativity and imagination, must be found on the ride. Have “the fun out of looking for things, which is the whole point” as rumipumi and Mtansill said.
