I arrived at C&C Automotive at 7:15am to have my car serviced, 15 minutes too EARLY to hand my car key to them in person. Luckily they have a “night drop” so I was able to put the key in an envelope, drop it in, and head off to work on my bike.

This was an ambulance in a prior life. Many people with loved ones transported in it back-in-the-day, were doubtless TEARY.

In this sculpture, “Convergence” by Zachary Oxman, a HUNCHed figure is emerging through the aperture of a camera lens. The sculpture is outside the entrance to an apartment building in Reston called “Aperture.”

According to the “Eat This, Not That!” website (https://www.eatthis.com/burger-fast-food-chains-grill-burgers), The Counter is one of 6 burger chains that actually grill their burgers using real FLAMEs, and you can definitely taste the difference.

New2Me public art find. Relatively recent installation of another gorgeous sculpture by artist Valerie Theberge, just in front of the entrance to the Microsoft building in Reston Town Center. Reston is fortunate to have a number of Theberge’s works throughout the community.

3/3/24 – I led a ride today to see public art in Rockville but I didn’t bet a photo of my bike. Here’s a photo of me talking to the group in front so this Untitled sculpture by William Calfee. Would this count?
@sophie CW If there was at least one other FS participant on the ride I will count it, and perhaps even give you some extra points for leading a public art ride! Just be sure you add #publicartfinder to your ride title in Strava.
