ParticipantThat’s the best way to come – you’ll fit right in! Coming by car and in street clothes is fine as well, and you won’t be alone in that if you do. Feel free to bring friends along too if you would like to.
I have about a 10 year supply of Costco unscented wipes. Will bring some packages along in case anyone wants a quick clean up.

ParticipantWell I was going to show up in the coconut bra and loin cloth again, but my wife will be there too, so I guess I have to wear a slightly more conventional ensemble. I’ve got a late meeting, so I’ll likely be there around 1730 or so.

ParticipantWhatever did happen to those photos we took last time?

A late meeting and you can get there by 5:30! I did pick the right occupation for a late bird like myself.
I will try to come briefly — probably on the early side — but I have out of town guests, so I can’t stay long.

ParticipantI’m going to be REALLY late – what is the general consensus on people being there around 7ish/esque?

They are welcomed upon buying a round for their tardiness?
I’d expect there will be a crowd for the TDF so it won’t matter a bit.

My work days usually start between 0330 and 0400. I take a break around 0600 to ride to the office.

ParticipantMy exit time from work depends on how many “fires” I have to put out on any given day. That said I should there @6 (hopefully with the little Missus)

ParticipantFamilial obligations have been lifted from my shoulders Thursday evening, so it looks like I’ll be joining in the fun.

ParticipantI haven’t been to one of these forum happy hours…how many people normally show up? I’m betting that the Shirlington location will result in a large number…has someone hipped Cap City Brewery to the fact that they may soon be inundated with spandex?

ParticipantThat’s my job. They’re clued in. We’ve only done this once before in Shirlington, but I think we’ll have 20 to 30 people tomorrow – maybe a few more, with coming and going at various times. A lot of people have been great about letting me know that they’re coming. Many thanks to all of you who already did or plan to!

Last time we had around 20 people show up. It didn’t suck at all. I think that’s why they may have a “special room” for us this time. Before they shut us in, someone needs to check to see if there is a working door knob and padding on the walls.
But seriously… Last time we had about 20 people. We were all very well behaved and it was a lot of fun. We were pretty darn generous with our servers, so they will be happy to have us back.
