Nice ride except this crazy woman in a blue hyundai who felt the need to pull within two inches of me on Ohio drive–twice. I was kind of hoping the NPS officer in an unmarked car next to her would do something, but he didn’t. (Maybe he wasn’t NPS and I presumed the wrong federal agency).

Big change from yesterday morning. Riding between 9-11 a.m. yesterday morning from Reston to Skyline in Falls Church on the WOD, I saw no bikes – none! – and only one pedestrian over the course of the 18 mile ride.

Yesterday morning, as I emerged dripping in my riding gear from the garage elevator, I was greeted with a cheery “So, did you bike in today”?
