That’s why I order stuff off the interwebs. That, and because I hate shopping.

And I’m not all that brave. I have an ebike, am WAY more conservative than my usual self, and love passing all those stopped cars waiting to get on the GW Parkway in the afternoon…

I drove as well :( And an appointment tomorrow morning will keep me from cycling in to work as well, but I’ll haul the speedy bike in and cycle home. Forcing me to cycle in Friday morning to retrieve my car YAY

See, what you do is carry a 9-lb chicken home in your messenger bag. ;)

Although if you’re buying 40-lb bags your dog is probably rather larger than mine and you would need more chickens. :D

I drove in today too, and I wasn’t happy about it — even though there was no traffic. I’m really going to hate it on the way home. It was my first missed bike commute since early June.

to add insult to injury, there was an accident on the Beltway this morning and my inner loop drive took twice as long as it should’ve. To add a good swift bootkick to the injury, the accident was on the OUTER loop, all lanes of the inner loop were open, but the idiot drivers in this area have to tie up 5 miles of beltway just so they can see the empty smashed cars.

I do too, but 24 miles and a bus ride just to get to work (and another 24 and a bus ride to get home) doesn’t always fit in to my max hours in the day :( I refuse to sleep less!

He is rather large. And eats quite a bit. Mostly off of eating children although he has the occasional lapse with a solicitor.

Now (thx dasgeh) I’m debating just buying the dog food on Amazon for automatic delivery… what a wonderful world.

I drove, again, but with no bike :(

However, my brother called me last night to say he was in town and wanted to have dinner tonight (whee!). The miles should work out though, since I’ll bike in and home tomorrow instead of doing 1/2 today and 1/2 tomorrow. I just need to make up some serious mileage this weekend for the Strava/Skratch labs challenge since I had intended on riding 3-4 days this week.

Was up at 4:30 this morning to stuff 55 miles into my pre-work commute and still have to ride 24 miles this evening to get home in time to feed the ravenous young-uns. Tomorrow, I’ll leave at a lazy 5:30 to catch another 50 miles (RT) toward the challenge and close my month strong… Sleep? Fell asleep at 8:30 last night, passed out on a toddler bed with it’s resident happily perched on my chest… and I still probably won’t complete the challenge. Sigh.

Morning commute by bike on a day like today? Worth the exhaustion. ;-)

I had to cram myself onto an overheated Metro car and be joggled all around by terrible braking technique :( Several people commented they felt sick when we all got off the train again.

    YAY RUNNING DAY! :P

But tomorrow is Coffee Club, so that will be better!

    …was, again, a drive.

I’m SO mad at myself. I only rode in once this week, at a time when my goal is to move to 3 days/week.

Today is so nice, too, I definitely could have rode today

Three bike days and a run day, but they all involved driving too. Perhaps I should be a less accommodating father?
