It’s only the frame that’s going, so the next owner will have to make it look nice, too! The frame is easy to work with, though, in that regard (as long as you like orange!).

Um, if anyone wanted the full bike, let’s talk.

In my nondescript, non-policed parking garage in Tysons, there are three bikes. My bike is locked up with a u-lock through the frame. The Giant mountain bike has a u-lock through the front wheel and the third bike (a schwinn?) is not locked up at all.

That section of the WOD is my usual commute. I take the Branch Ave. path over to Echols and into Tysons. Based on the video, the car comes onto the trail on the Branch connector. Going through there this morning I noticed how nice and wide it is, it looks like a driveway! Other paths off the WOD are much narrower. Perhaps there is some golden width for these paths that could be used?

All black, looked to be a newer US builder sport sedan with bright wigwag blue in the tail lights and rear window.

There are some FCC police that frequent Mike’s Deli on Monday morning and at least one drives an all black Charger. I bet it was the same car.

I’m planning to be a Falls Church at 7:30 and we can meet up and go into Tysons. I’ll be on a grey Salsa Vaya.

During my bike fit at Revolution one of the benefits was getting to try a bunch of saddles. I bought the one I liked the most during that session, but left knowing it was returnable (to Bontrager) if I didn’t like it for the first 30 days or so. You might consider that option.

There have been convoys in the past going out to Tysons, but I don’t think there is one this year. Others are right, Gallows is a primary connection with a bike lane. I commute to Tysons off the W&OD and don’t like Gallows much but instead turn off the Branch connection, to Echols, to Wolf Trap to Old Courthouse to Gallows/Aline. You can PM me if you’d like to convoy. I’ll hit the Falls Church pit stop that morning and then the Tysons pit stop.

Riding home last night between rain drops I saw a rider approaching. He seemed tall, very tall. Oh wait, he’s sitting up and not using his hands! GB sighting.

Steve – I’ve got this prize and can hand it out. I won’t be early, but should be there for my early prizes.

What? Are you telling me not everyone has an alert set for when their spouse starts posting *multiple* limericks on a public forum?

She can deal with intersections by basically coming close to a stop or even stopping at each one. When she sees something like what happened at K and 15th, she would simply wait for the obstruction to be resolved.

Really? I (sometimes) ride on the Gallows Road bike lane and HATE it because there are many cars turing right, through my lane, to the middle school, 7-11 or numerous other businesses. Cars are going 40+ MPH a few inches to my left. Isabella might be able to get away with stopping at each cross-street, because the cyclist behind her would realize she’s an unpredictable kid out looking to score a double dip, but I can’t. The cyclist behind me I didn’t realize was there would run into me pronto. Don’t even consider the dangerous debris in the lane. Quick maneuvers with sand/gravel are not a good combination.

Tysons – America’s Next Great City.
