ParticipantI thought teams were 10. I see all the teams, but ours, have 9 or 10 producing. We have 8 out riding. Our 9th said he should start riding soon.

We have three people on the waiting list, and all teams are reporting full. I will probably reach out to those people tonite but what I will probably propose is Slacker Team Duex – they can participate but wont be going fir first.
Well my team Scoundrels and Nerf Herders http://www.strava.com/clubs/46402 is still missing one rider totally. We only have 9 connected on Strava.

ParticipantI am going to Costa Rica next week so I may try for that award.

Participant1. Fenders not only keep you drier but keep those riding with you drier.
2. Don’t lean in corners as much enthusiasm as you do in wet or dry times
3. Light runtimes are lessened in the cold.

If you’re warm when you get on the bike, you’re overdressed.
That is true for races, but not for commuting, training, or beer runs. My advice, have one more layer with or on you than you need based on the starting temp. You can always take things off and even toss them away but cannot gate things to you.

ParticipantAll of my u and padlocks are frozen right now. Had to thaw them to go for a ride.
More annoying, my bike mounted mini pump was frozen the other day. Had to melt it with tummy heat to fix my flat.

Wouldn’t want my fellow Feds to freeze to death while waiting for the car to warm up!
Based on the last closing in Dec for a heavy dusting, I bet it will happen. Will give me a chance to ride Tuesday if it happens.

This sounds like a gauntlet thrown.
