Nope, my bike’s a good 15 pounds heavier… not counting the chocolate milkshakes.
If I’m riding in a vacuum I’ll probably have other things to worry about than who can roll downhill faster
I was hoping the mighty tank-like weight of the MTB would magically overcome the resistance of the tires. Kinda like how I could pass people on downhills in my 1976 Pontiac Bonneville.
I guess that doesn’t work when the mighty tank-like weight is mashing all that extra rubber into the road, huh?

I only crashed into the railing on the ped bridge a little bit, I made it halfway up the hill before dying, and I got to use my hilarious disco spoke lights! So win all around.

If hops like poison ivy, they’ll do smashingly. There’s a whole other mulberry tree on the other side of the bridge you can eat
Today’s ride in was AWESOME! Perfect weather.
Followed a nice guy named Dave with a mailbox on his rack. We stopped by the 14th St Bridge and picked mulberries for a bit.
