Everyone, I will be home early that day, so feel free to come by as early as 4 or so. Which might work for you federal employees that day anyway.
Woohoo! How about contractors taking unexpected unpaid vacations?

ParticipantDear Bicycle Commuter I Have Previously Called Out For Salmoning Down N. Van Dorn Between Braddock and Menokin:
DUDE. DUDE!
You SERIOUSLY HAVE TO STOP THIS.
This morning there were cars swerving out of their lanes to avoid hitting you.
You do this every morning and you are eventually going to kill someone, probably with someone else’s car.
RIDE ON THE RIGHT FREAKING SIDE OF THE ROAD YOU YELLOW JACKET OF AUTHORITY-WEARING MORAN!
Thank you.

Anything (within reason) to avoid sitting is probably a good idea. Sitting is associated with significant health risks, even among people who are physically active. The more you sit, the more problems you have. Some recent studies indicate that this is the case, even if someone exercises a lot.
I hate sitting. When I had to leave my awesome job at the sign shop and go back to working in an office, it was actually painful to sit in a chair all day instead of getting to stand and move.

ParticipantI was looking at some of the Lake shoes with the BOA laces online that looked pretty cool, but with my funky feet I figured it was better to be able to try something on first. As I recall I wound up with the Tahos in the first place because I couldn’t get my feet into any of the road shoes at Spokes.

ParticipantEh, never mind, I got some Shimano WM62s at REI.
They are exceedingly white.
