@cvcalhoun – Thanks for that update. Not sure what we can do about it except, as I posted a little earlier, if anyone is having technical problems, let us know. We won’t automatically assume a photo is late just because it doesn’t show up before midnight. After all, it’s a game with pointless prizes. And it’s only critical if the photo is “THE ONE” …

Fun to see those stats!

If the choice had been right or wrong side of the tracks, I would have been confused today. (I actually stopped to take this photo because of the tracks that just … stop! I figure if they’re not using them, they should convert a lot of this land to a park.)

1/5/25 Tree (deciduous)   These trees are so interesting. During the dormant season they get trimmed way back. The tree forms knuckles, and from the knuckles, more branches grow, causing the tree to spread out. Once they leaf out in the spring, they provide much needed shelter from the desert sun! And no, I have no idea what they actually are called!

CVCalhoun – I’ve forgotten and I didn’t see it in a review of the first page rules. Is there a minimum riding requirement for this prize? (similar to publicartride being 10 miles?)

Glenn and I will attempt to post here each Sunday giving a little blurb about points awarded. Last year I tried to post the updates on Facebook as well, but most people using the Facebook group aren’t playing this game, so updates (with explanations) will only be here. If you are just watching the numbers, use the link to the spreadsheet. If you want to try to figure out what appeals to us, read the blurbs.

Everyone be especially careful these next few days. No game is worth frostbite!
