Don’t forget to login to the Freezing Saddles site and set your your Bike Tribe settings for Handlebars, Foot Down, and Side of the River.

Then your rides will show up in the completely pointless statistics by Bike Tribe leaderboard!

I’d love to join this but I get an error message when I click on the link. 🤔🤷🏻

Not sure why cuz obviously others have logged their data. I’m using an iPhone – can’t think that would matter but lmk 🤷🏻

Nadine – it looks like the link to update your tribes only works when you’re “logged in” to the Freezing Saddles website, which most people are not on a regular basis.

I was able to “update my tribes” by first logging into the Freezing Saddles website (selecting “Login” in the upper right corner), going through the authorization process again (connect with Strava, choose whether FS can read just my public or also private rides), and then selecting “My Bike Tribes” from the upper right drop-down once my name is there.

Thanks Richard. I think I got it. I had NO IDEA there was an option to log into the FS page! Does being logged in get us anything else?

Also 🤔 the right /wrong sides of the river must be a joke, right?

Also 🤔 my ride from today doesn’t seem to be registering. Strava has it, and has me at 78 miles & 5 days. But on the FS page I’m down at #100 with 4 days and 61 miles – and the friend I rode with is up at 51. Looks like I should be in the low 30s, unless there are a lot of other uncounted rides. Got home a good hour ago so I guess it should register my ride by 🤔 later today?

Also… This you’re unlikely to know about but I thought I’d try anyhow. I’ve been unable to log into this forum without having to reset my password since the update at end of 2023. All last FS and still now I hafta reset my password every. single. time. I wanna log in. I wrote to bike Arlington a few times last FS but never heard back…. I’m pretty sure my question never reached them. Anyhow if you have any ideas I’ll take em. 😁🤷🏻

If the choice had been right or wrong side of the tracks, I would have been confused today. (I actually stopped to take this photo because of the tracks that just … stop! I figure if they’re not using them, they should convert a lot of this land to a park.)

I refuse to affiliate (own 4 bikes of various handlebars), live in DC but used to live in VA, and foot down depends on slope!!!!! (or which foot/ankle has been troubling me)

Nadine and @Srfrjulie – Just seeing that your rides haven’t shown up today either!  I created a new post asking about my missing ride.  Hopefully we’ll see them show up soon!

There was a problem from about Noon until just a minute ago with rides syncing that I have fixed.

Rides from today should now be on the site.

Refusing to join a bike tribe is valid!
