What time was this? I got there about 7:40 and Shawn was there before me saying none of you showed up. What did you do, leave the house at 6am?

Hrm, no time for FMCCII though. Too Ambitious?

We discussed the need to hold HDCC in Crystal City tomorrow. Perhaps we should have FCCII at the Ballston BTWD stop …

So thoughts on which one to get? How well do the silicon one’s last? How well does the cloth sport one last? Is there a better/cheaper alternative?

I have a silicon one which has held up really, really well. So well in fact that some of the info is outdated. I think I put in on 3+ years ago. I wear it 24/7 and probably have only taken it off for the occasional formal event and/or pass through airport security (although most of the time they don’t really care and let me leave it on). Personally I think it is totally worth the $20.

hey, what happened the Friday Lunch Bunch?

Today would be an AWESOME day to eat outside. Alas, I’m now in audit hell so no escaping during the work day until at least the week after next. I’ll try to organize something then but if anyone wants to take the lead for next week be by guest!

I’m riding the 50 (which is actually 52 so maybe I have your miles) but from Williamsburg not Richmond. I’ll keep at lookout for you at the two rest stops where we might overlap.

I’ve already been to Bikenetic once and test-ridden some things …. I’m pretty sure I’m going to go ahead and get the Bikenetic folks to drag in a Surly Straggler for me to try (I even like the purple glitter).

Bikenetic rocks (as we all know) but be oh so careful with their “we’ll get one in and you can try it, no problem” deal. They did for me with my Ogre, then let me take it for a LONG test ride after which there was no way I wasn’t going home with it!

All I ask is that when I drop, someone sweep me on to the sidewalk so I don’t get squelched by traffic.

Don’t worry, the social ride will act as the sweep.
