Hmm…. I love a good puzzle!
If the weather cooperates, this might be a good day for a pizza ride out in LoCo!
As pizza is my favorite food, I support this!
I, however, probably won’t be able to join you in LoCo. I’ll be out for a morning ride, gotta be back in time for my wife to go and start her indoor climbing classes.
I will probably get my local club out for a spin though. Huzzah huzzah!

ParticipantThese are very cool. Love the stripes!

If anyone can get it done Boomer, you have my vote!
We believe in you, Boomer!

ParticipantI think you could probably make it a tangible prize with a custom temporary tattoo kit?

I mean you may just find that you end up telling your therapist a LOT about bikes, including about Freezing Saddles. Hmmm.
My friends have figured out that I basically only have a few things to talk about and most of them are bikes, now. I try to keep it interesting for normies, but yeah. I’m a Bike Guy now. It’s the way it is.

Condolences.
I still _don’t_ even begin to like cycling, but I figured this was a good place to meet people with similar stories to mine.
Hey thanks. It’s been a year almost. It’s rough some days. Mostly OK lately. But hell, what better way to grieve than in a sleet storm? Wait, don’t answer that.
Godzilla
ParticipantI dig it! I am kind of a wet towel when it comes to gloomy weather rides, but I figure, like you, I can do a mile in my neighborhood every day if I have to.

I think you might eventually find that actual therapy ends up being cheaper than bikes….
#NPlusOne
We should go for a bike ride!
I have done regular therapy and it helped! But not like the bike does. And so far, I’ve kept my bike purchases quite reasonable. That’s a story unto itself.
I got into biking right around the time my student loans were forgiven. So I decided to spend the same amount on bikes that I would have spent on student loan payments for that year. So I got two bikes. One for each foot.
In terms of going for a ride, yes! Hit me up. I’m a suburban dad with related responsibilities, but I can manage rides most weekends. I’m not afraid of a little rain or wet pavement. And one of my routes up through Olney includes three or four breweries along the way.

ParticipantGoing to try this again…
Hi everyone, I’m Andy. I’m here because BMILLAH made me do it. I live in the Colesville area of Silver Spring. I do most of my training on the roads of Montgomery Co., but enjoy a fair share of gravel racing. I did the Unbound 100 and Rebecca’s Private Idaho this year.
When I’m not on the bike, I work in civil rights and civil liberties policy, bake bread, make the occasional piece of art, and try to keep my kids from destroying civilization as we know it (trying!). Hope to see you all out there. I volunteered to help set up happy hours and stuff.Godzilla
ParticipantHello all, I’m new here thanks to bmillah.
I mostly train on roads and race on gravel, though by “racing” I mean “DFL.”
When I’m not on the bike I am in Silver Spring, making homemade pizza and trying to keep my kids from destroying civilization. Doing well on the pizza part.

ParticipantGreetings all, I am very new here, registered today at the behest of bmillah. Looking forward to freezing my cohones off this winter with all of you.
My name is Andy, and I’ll either be on my gray Ribble or my yellow Canyon, weather be damned!
Godzilla
ParticipantThanks to bmillah I am here. Gonna freeze my bawls off I guess. I signed up to be a team leader also. Heckin heck.
My name is Andy, I live in Colesville, Silver Spring MD. I ride around the county and train on roads on my carbon Ribble R872, but most of my racing is on gravel. I did the Unbound 100 and Rebecca’s Private Idaho this year. Fun times. Looking forward to seeing you all out there.
