ParticipantI don’t know. Cursory internet searches do not provide any info after the initial reports.

ParticipantJudd, I miss your smile and positivity, and I’m glad to see you’ve still got it! That machine sounds absolutely amazing, I cannot wait to get back and ride on the new smooth, comfortable, flat, and fast (15mph limit of course) MVT!

ParticipantI like the snow…but it doesn’t snow on me here in Belgium, and I miss it…just not when riding a bike

ParticipantI keep violating the rules Boomer…no bike, so no actual chance to win, but the art is pretty awesome. Here’s 2 more.
1st: a bronzed statuette perched on a flood control gate in southern Amsterdam. Caught it as I was deputing the city for Brussels on Saturday morning (25 feb), at the stray fop a 235km epic!
2nd; Paul Rubens used to live a few kms from where i currently live in Belgium (back then it was southern Holland, hence why he was a Dutch Master!). The Commune painted a portrait of him on a train viaduct, that precedes his Kasteel (Castle) and estate by just a few hundred meters phots of which are also on my ride from today, 27 Feb).

Participant@Boomer2U, I failed to put my bike int he photo…again. But the piece has to be shared. Belgian roundabout decoration, and upraised fist, placed in solidarity with the 3,500 workers who lost their jobs when the Vilvoorde Renault assembly facility was closed with no notice in 1997. It sits in the N211/R22 intersection (roundabout) that is a crucial node departing the E19/E40 complex in Zaventem. Putting my bike in this picture at rush hour would have been suicidal, so I passed, but I’m sharing the piece because I think its pretty cool, both in appearance and for what it stands for. **No idea what it wont orientate properly, fro a better view go to my ride in Strava.

ParticipantI messed up Boomer, I didn’t put my bike in the photo…but there’s lot of bike in the art!
This was painted onto a bridge abutment just before the 2021 UCI Road Race World Championship held in Leuven, Belgium. It sits at the turns when the riders departed the flat fast portion of the course and started doing laps of Leuven with all the “hills” (aka, walls and ramps, which are all short and steep, >10% in most cases).

ParticipantHey Judd, the brewery in Silly, Belgium (yes, that’s how it’s spelled!) is just a short spin (65km with wiggles) from where I live…I’ll do a stupid trick, and ride there in a very “wiggly” route and take a picture. The art on the front is pretty cool! (BTW, that beer is really good if you’re into sours.)

One of these years we should base the points on riding time rather than miles.
I ride road to do workouts, but I much prefer riding gravel. I could totally get on board with this. I suspect it would make the competition a bit fairer for some of the folks that can’t ride at 30km/h+, because without speed, the distance is harder to amass, but time is time. Perhaps we should suggest a dual tracking leaderboard that ranks folks for time AND distance. I like the idea. A lot, Jason!
I’ve never ridden a trials bike, but I watch the vids on YouTube from time to time, it intrigues me. I am deeply impressed with the bike handling skills of the riders.

ParticipantHey Ricky! We will have to catch up when I’m in town next (this fall?), easy bike ride and some hangin out and chillin.

ParticipantIt may be sad for us, Kelly, but if you’re riding, you won’t be sad! 10 per day is a good number, do it!

It’s been a couple weeks, did you get the bike set up?
Dachs6
ParticipantThat’s what I thought based on the referenced thread.

ParticipantSo, I gotta ask…there are a few of us on the wormhole leaderboard, same rules as last year, name it and provide photo (or other digitally friendly) proof within the thread? What about wormholes id’d last year?
