Participant@bigredboiler – If you find it in your heart to count this, this would have been my flag from 3/17 had I known you may have something up your sleeve for daily riders. I made sure I rode by this again today. It is Azerbaijan (which is odd to see in an area of farms and horse stables).

Participant@bigredboiler – Dang. I wish I would have known to keep playing along. I called it quits after seeing that @matteblack had me beat. I did see two new flags, but didn’t take a picture of them (since I didn’t bother bringing my camera).

Participant3/17 – In honor of this special flag that I never posted before, I will say I went back out today and found 11,780 new flags!
AlanA
Participant@matteblack – I was pretty sure someone would get more flags than miles. Nice job.
That also saves me from taking any more pictures since I can’t win.
@bigredboiler – Thanks for a fun contest.AlanA
Participant@bigredboiler – I’m assuming this is a tiebreaker for people who have found a flag every day.
Or is is a free for all tomorrow for everyone? (Since I’m the only one who has posted anything for today).AlanA
Participant3/16 – McD’s (the one on the right)
I did my best today and got another 24 flags. I stil have to figure out what they are all, so I will post to Strava a bit later.
I’m assuming that by posting this now, I will most likely not win. Such is life. I tried.March 16, 2024 at 5:03 pm in reply to: 2024 Photo Scavenger Hunt – Rules and Alternate Words #1134229AlanA
Participant3/16/2024 – Toxin
Some people still don’t clean up after their dog.

Participant@bigredboiler – Sigh. Oh, well. I tried. I guess I won’t even share in a $3 gift card.
I plan on riding more miles than I take flag pictures of on both days. I’m sure I will be in the minority.March 15, 2024 at 3:25 pm in reply to: 2024 Photo Scavenger Hunt – Rules and Alternate Words #1134161AlanA
Participant3/15/2024 – Erupt
Be careful with these. You don’t want one (or all of them) to erupt.

Participant@nancyt – I’m glad some people had good cards. I only had three called on mine.
At least I no longer have to worry about looking daily to see that I don’t have to look for anything.March 14, 2024 at 9:55 pm in reply to: BAFS Closing Happy Hour 4/10 @ 6:30 PM at City State, NE DC #1134109AlanA
Participant@lhasacm – Hah! Way to get some brownie points for the tie-breaker. What a great idea!
(Apologies to the folks who don’t have any idea what we’re talking about).AlanA
Participant@kbikeva – Since I started playing this, I’ve learned that nothing is out of the ordinary. I’ve seen some mighty ‘interesting’ flags where you least expect them. An RV park in Fort Stockton, TX had quite a collection.

Participant@bigredboiler – As long as I can get in a dry ride tomorrow to grab a ‘sleaze’ flag, it looks dry to finish this out. I”m back home and have plenty of flags saved for the end.
Maybe we could all get a $3 gift card instead of one $20 one? I don’t really do this to win a prize, I do it because I enjoy it. This is even more fun than the mailbox game. My life perspective have been changed again.
