Good seeing you — just a couple of minutes after I saw Dickie and Mrs. Dickie on their return from Red Sox Hell.

Rode almost the entire way from EFC to Rosslyn with Mikey (forum member formerly known as essigmw) without even knowing it. Sorry I didn’t recognize you, was too busy yapping away with Cara. Good seeing you, see you at FCCII.

I felt bad, I don’t think I know Cara, so I just hung back and realized that you were going pretty much the same pace I was fine going. I figured I would say hi as we got into Arlington. Beautiful ride this morning.

Great ride in with Shawnofthedread this morning. No pictures as I was clearly more focused on keeping up as evidenced on Strava by my two new achievements. He also said something about beating the rain. We accomplished that but I’m still so sweaty I’m pretty sure I’m not any drier for missing the rain.

I saw (met) PeteD last night at the Freshbikes ride start. I didn’t see Tim :-)

BTW, I just found a bunch of you on Strava. My real name is Gillian B., in case you’re wondering who started following you.

We usually ride the route a little earlier than the pack, mostly to avoid the crashing but also to get in a couple of loops at the far end before the pack gets there.

GuyContinental somehow spotted me this morning on his way back from FCCIII, turned around and chased me down, and then rode a few miles to chat before he back-tracked to Arlington…. Oh yeah, did I mention he was working from home today? Yep, He rode out to Herndon in the rain just to enjoy some Java with fellow forum members…. you are a fine example of Rule #9 sir… hats off!

Just trying to guilt you into trying out FMCC III is all! Thanks for not mentioning that I neglected to wear one-iota of rain gear and thus, looked like a drowned, partially hypothermic rat…

Spotted Dickie today heading south at the airport ramp. Looked like he was channelling his countryman Froome.

Later I spotted someone walking on the MVT while reading a magazine. It’s bad enough on a treadmill, but Sunday on the trail….

Nice to hear “Dickie!” yelled and see someone familiar on a day when the trail was busy. I wasn’t positive it was you until I saw this post. I had Ms. Dickie behind me as we were heading to Shirlington for some lunch… hope you had as nice a ride as we did!

Leaving work yesterday I rode past the Merrifield Lost Dog as always and spotted a beautifully be-dazzled bicycle locked outside shining and glowing in the sun…. ACC was that your sweet ride?

Lots of sightings on the WOD this morning. First, Americancyclo crossing Lee (sorry I was a little out of it, my HR spiked to 180 while waiting for the light… I got distracted and wondered if I was sitting next to a very large magnet or generator), next was DCV near the 495 overpass, and then I spotted Mikey (Formerly known as essignw) crossing Gallows in his BA jersey. Happy monday morning!

I shouted at Honeybadger6 under the W&L parking lot and saw Rootchopper starting his climb out of the TR Island parking lot.
