Sighted OneEighth walking westbound on G, and again a minute later walking eastbound on G. I think he was trying to get his picture in this thread again, but I forgot to bring my camera today.

Just catching up to the forums after a couple days on the new job.
Was thrilled to see so many BA riders and #bikeDC riders on the roads & trails these past 2 days:

@dailyrandonneur and @gypsybug on Ohio Dr.
@sharrowsDC in Crystal City
1/8th on the 14th St Bridge yesterday morning (me Crystal City bound)
and dcv on the Key bridge this evening.

If this is what is in store for me on my new commute, I’m gonna love it.

I haven’t seen any forum members on my rides in days. My spotting of arlingtonrider last Sunday on the 4MRT west of Shirlington didn’t count because I was in the back seat of a car.

Yesterday was like “Bingo” on the trail…. seems like everyone’s number came up. Tidy19 and I were WAY to early for the FreshBikes ride so we decided to head east on the W&OD to do the Arl-Fax loop. Spotted Rando, DCV, and Eminva, and apparently Dismal passed us as well. On the return we caught up to some of the FreshBike gang, namely Dirt, Dismal, and the Dread… beers ensued and the rest was history… what a great day!

Ah, I did hear someone say my name after we passed, but I was concentrating not hitting the multitude of joggers, and the line of approaching bikes both coming up the MVT and coming off of the bridge. Sorry I didn’t respond. It’s funny I always see people I know on the humpback. It’s my regular rootchopper meeting place.

Now that Bilsko has a new commute that doesn’t cross my long-way-commute, I’m in the same boat. Thanks for thinking of my ability to post in this thread when you changed jobs, Bilsko. Jerk.

Had a quick exchange of pleasantries with Fraction man at the top of the Custis in Rosslyn and I also think I had my first Tim “KOM” Kelly spotting in a BA jersey heading towards me on the Custis just after the 66/glebe bridge.
