Saw OneEighth, ShawnoftheDread and dcv while out on the W&OD and Custis with my large bicycle gang.

There were a couple that seemed to love the hills. But yes, most had the same reaction that normal people have the first time they experience the Custis hills westbound.

You were hard to miss out there! We crossed paths as you were crossing Washington Blvd and I was heading westbound towards daycare. I may have said “Ann” by accident. But I did yell “yay scouts!” afterwards when I realized what was going on.

That reminds me, I bumped into Rob O and his family about a month ago outside Jason’s Deli in Falls Church when I was still slingborne.

Had a quick chat this morning with bikeeveryday outside my office building. We were both in work attire.

Funny how you run into cycling friends off the bike. Last 4th of July we went to see fireworks at the local HS and someone recognized me and said hi but I couldn’t exactly remember who they were I think it was someone from FABB maybe.
