It was spitting at me as I headed up Lynn St to the MVT yesterday after work. Then there were some big drops, but it seemed like I did an end around by going down to the MRT and over the W&OD. Of course by the time I got to the Custis intersection there was no evidence any rain had fallen in that part of Arlington.

And I saw him a mile east of there. I think we have him pretty well monitored.

I have to attempt dcv and Dirt’s photo techniques later today. We have our 16th and final training ride with the scouts for our C&O trip next month. I have been bringing my camera, but realized all my photos are of people standing around at rest stops. I have to get brave and take photos on the fly.

Saw Rootchopper by TR Island again, this time properly ‘bent.

Then I saw eminva leading a troop of scouts up the Custis’s first climb. Liz rocks.
