I saw someone in the morning heading away from Vienna wearing a BA jersey, probably the same guy. I waved but got no response so perhaps he’s not on the forum. I also saw another BA jersey this morning heading north on the MVT near the memorial bridge… not sure who it was.
To the gentleman riding the Renovo heading north on the wooden section of the MVT this morning, I’m sorry if you mistook my yelling as an insult… I was in fact begging you to stop so I could drool over your bike!

This happened to me a few times recently, i asked a guy with the BA jersey and he had won it on BTWD. Another time a woman bought the jersey without knowing about the forums.

Does this mean only wooden bikes can be ridden on that section?

ParticipantI had my first actual One Eight sighting, in the cycletrack by Treasury.
I mean, I’ve seen him before, but this was my first random encounter.

ParticipantSaw Shawnofthedread this morning. He looked geared up for weather with full-fenders and such.
Me, I was uber prepared too — driving to the metro … Sigh.

ParticipantMark Blacknell, Tim Kelly and others at Hains Point this morning. It may have been my caffeine deprived brain but it appeared Tim was riding fast enough to get a Doppler shift on his jersey colors. Clearly out of my league!

Was I being a PAL, or doing something questionable?

Never fear, you were being a PAL. Predictably stopped at the corner of 50 and Annandale waiting for the light.

If you have to ask you already know the answer!

No, I simply know that both may or may not have occurred this morning. I didn’t know what Cyndi saw. Also, I may have been sleeping for at least part of the ride.
