Wasn’t me, I hit the trail around 735 and was at my office by 800. Twas a busy morning on the Custis though, and I was wishing I had gotten up early enough to take the long way in.

Probably not me, although I was there around 5:00 yesterday afternoon…. I was wearing a red and black kit on my celest Bianchi… yeah yeah, I know… I must be color blind as well!

Spotted Walter Tejada riding on the W&OD at Columbia Pike. Said hi and thanked him for all his support of cycling.

I’m not really into politics, but it’s pretty great that our County Board Chairman is out riding on his own for seemingly no reason other than it’s a nice day to ride.

Funny that you mention that! I spotted Jay Fisette in Revolution Cycles in Clarendon around lunchtime today and thanked him for all his support of cycling. He was picking up a bike that had been in for repairs and doing some shopping. It’s great to have County Board members who ride.

Yup, I was the non-cyclist who was late to a meeting and didn’t care anymore. Sad truth – Had I been on my bike, I probably wouldn’t have been late. Damn you cycling gods!

A bonus for leaving late today, I spotted Rando Guy at the Custis/W&OD intersection. I was the lucky one with the tail wind, but Rando seemed to be hauling east even with the handlebar bag catching wind…. good to see you sir!

Good to see you too kind sir! Little known fact – I had 3lbs of peanut butter in the front bag + other things. Great things happen when the wife goes to Costco. Dickie rounded the intersection like a boss.
