I saw the owner of the pink mustachioed bike this morning going east on the WOD between Shreve and Virginia. I forgot who it is, so failed to say hello.

That was me! I think that was part of my route with the sun (and gnats) in my face, so I’m sure I saw you, but you were so backlit you could have been Charlize Theron riding a unicorn and I probably wouldn’t have noticed.

Spotted a very focused DCV and presumably his wife and son on the W&OD just west of the Shreve crossing.

I forgot to mention, last Wednesday, I had a Rootchopper sighting on the Humpback bridge, then a DC Randonneur and Gypsybug sighting on Maine avenue between the CSX overpass and the fish market in the same day; the same 10 minutes even!

Yeah….about that….Meg is getting ready for her first century in two weeks, so we’re trying to make sure she’s got some miles on her legs. So as much as I’d love to rest so I can get through Kill Bill, getting in miles with Meg is my priority.

The ‘stache is most impressive. But it needs to be either black or salt-and-pepper to match the bike and the kit.
