ParticipantWasn’t me. But the bike is pretty clean this morning. I may even wipe it down again during lunch.
We’re about due to run into each other again out on the trails.January 30, 2012 at 2:27 pm #935287Dirt

I’ll try and grab the brake right before impact.

ParticipantI had a OneEighth sighting on Saturday morning on the W&OD, just past the pedestrian bridge over I-66 near Madison Manor Park!
I was disguised as responsible father running with a jogging stroller–and he was gone in a flash before I even knew he was there…

ParticipantI was riding quickly because I was so embarassed by the very dirty state of the black fixie.
Must have been on my way back from the farmer’s market. Hope I called my pass…January 31, 2012 at 5:24 am #935377Dirt
ParticipantTwo rides in one day with americancyclo. Dang did I luck out! Great riding home with you, sir. Hope you enjoyed that route. It is a very nice and different way to get home.

Spot confirmed.
This is the second time you’ve seen me on that stretch without me seeing you. You must not have been wearing enough pink.
Can I ride sorta towards home now?January 31, 2012 at 7:45 pm #935462Dirt

Can I ride sorta towards home now?You don’t get much more pink than me this morning. You were actually looking the opposite direction and hitching up your pack… and we were both moving at a decent clip. My view of you was a brief one. You are distinctive.

ParticipantI’ve had two consularrider sightings in the last week and rode to work with ScreaminQuadz this morning.
americancyclo saw me riding home last night, but ran away in abject terror.
I don’t blame him.

I couldn’t’ handle the awesomeness of one man on TWO pink bikes. Also, I was walking, and I don’t think you heard me yell your name. :p

Yeah… I was pretty well occupied at that particular moment. I did have quite a few people yelling at me on my commute home yesterday. Still not entirely sure how I made it across Roosevelt bridge without killing myself… or someone else. I told myself, “Self, I’ll be fine as long as I don’t meet anyone while crossing.” I met 4 runners. D’OH
This is where y’all ask, “What the hell is Dirt talking about?”

ParticipantWell, OneEighth blew by me on the MVT yesterday afternoon as we approached the 4MRT turnoff. He looked like he was going to catch up to the group of riders who had also just passed me so he could get a good draft heading west, or maybe give them a pull. Sigh, too bad I was on the hybrid and not up to the chase.
