I suspect we have two candidates for the next gravel grinder.

ParticipantAlmost forgot that I crossed paths with the mustachioed fraction last night on the Custis, at the Glebe offramp overpass just west of the sisters. I don’t think we’ve ever met in person, I just know the mustache from photos here.

Chatted with dcv this morning. Good to meet you and thanks for stopping, made my morning! I might have spotted Eminva as well, were you wearing a light blue jacket this morning? I was stuck behind the hipster with the skinny jeans so I didn’t see you until the last minute
No, that wasn’t me — my employer zigs when others zag and I have a holiday today. Went out on the CCT with the scouts instead!

ParticipantJackpot.
I finally got my first 0.125 siting this morning – on Ohio Drive, 1/8th was almost at the John Ericsson circle. I was headed the otherway (alas, on the sidewalk because Ohio Drive SE-bound was closed)

GuestI believe I spotted this bike headed south on the MVT yesterday afternoon? I was struggling home in the rain on my red FX (my legs did not appreciate combining a long ride with some riding on gravel for the first time in forever) when you passed me. I was sure I recognized the bike from pictures on here, but no idea who it belonged to and didn’t want to just randomly yell out at passing strangers.

Sorry that wasn’t me, I was napping after the morning ride with Dirt, Culimerc & Mike.

ParticipantGuyContinental was kind enough to slow down so I could ride with him for a while, great to finally meet you. We decided to pull over and take a pic for evidence.

For the record, I don’t really have an encyclopedic knowledge of every BA poster’s background, bikes, work and bike route… just yours… muhahaha!

ParticipantMy first “ride a non-trivial portion of my commute with a person I know that I randomly encountered”! Ran into (almost literally) Bilsko on the Rock Creek Trail and chatted for a few miles before splitting off at Hains Point.

Very nice to share a stretch of road with you too this morning! (A stretch of Ohio Drive closed to SE-bound traffic, no less)

I believe you might have invented a new game there! Double Dickie sightings earn a dirty mustache!
