Dirt
ParticipantIt was cool to bump into Greenbelt on the Penna Ave Cycleway on Friday. Sorry that I didn’t immediately recognize you… I was in the middle of a rolling interview/photo shoot with the owner of one of the world’s largest cargo bikes.
It was really funny because we were talking about his circle of friends and how far-reaching his network is. It gave me serious cred to have someone who knew me ride up at EXACTLY the right moment. Thank you, sir. Made the rest of the interview go really well.

Definitely not! It was perfect. It was just funny that you rolled up when you did. Perfect addition. It upped the number of people who recognized me significantly and that improved things.

ParticipantGood seeing you out there Dirt. Sorry you were late to work though. Also, the bike looked awesome with its post mixed ride experience the day before!

My schedule is very flexible. I’ll head home at the usual time, and finish out the day in my home office. All is good.

ParticipantHearing someone call their passes always makes me happy, but it’s an added bonus to discover afterwards that the person who just did that is a friend. Great “sighting you” on the MVT last Friday evening, One Eighth! Special thanks for being one of those thoughtful people who call their passes!

ParticipantI was glad to see you—wish I could have ridden with you, but I needed to pick Ms. Sofie up from school.
Hope the rest of your ride was fun.December 21, 2011 at 7:24 pm #933887Arlingtonrider
ParticipantIt was a fun surprise just to get to say hi! I loved meeting Ms. Sophie, and totally understand the importance of the mission you were on. Is she still bike commuting? It was great to see the two of you riding your respective bikes a few weeks ago. Please thank her for the help she gave us!

ParticipantHad a great ride in with AmericanCyclo this morning. He caught up to me at the PERFECT moment while I was shooting some product review video. Truly enjoyable commute, sir! Thank you.

Yeah… I did. The first thing I did upon opening my Forever Lazy was to unzip the butt flap. It hasn’t been zipped up since. Luckily I wear clothes under it.

ParticipantMight have seen OneEighth this morning… it was dark… a person riding an EXTREMELY CLEAN fixie rode past in the opposite direction on Custis near mile 0. Typical me that I noticed the bike and not the person.
The person I DID see and ride with was americancyclo. Crappy photo documentation below.
Very nice riding with you, sir. Hope your day goes well.
