I tried to kill the entire group ride by making them stand with their back to traffic while a truck was approaching, but they all moved out of the way too fast. I’ll try harder next time.

Busy sighting morning, passed Dirt (going in the opposite direction) on the Bluemont Trail and about an hour later passed arlingtonrider at the south end of Reagan-National on the MVT. AR was in stealth mode with a full face mask riding into the 30 mph gusting wind. I did not envy her crossing the Potomac with that as a cross wind.
