First saw vvill on Ohio Dr between the bridges, he didn’t see me. Then as I was finishing up my commute on the 4MRT, I saw him on the other side of the run heading west on the W&OD, so I decided to play catch up and add another 4 or so miles to my day’s total.

Then this morning as I was starting out on the Custis, his Oneness was heading west? :confused:

And there he was again coming off the Roosevelt boardwalk about 5:20 pm.

And again on Wednesday morning around 9:00 heading to the 14th St Bridge.

No photos to post, but I finally had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Rod Smith! We were dodging traffic and I was trying to keep up with another new friend I met at a CaBi station during lunchtime today, but it was great to have a chance to say hi.

Nice to meet you! Looking very classy on the bikeshare bike in your business attire. No one would have guessed you were a hardcore biker skipping lunch for your BAFS team and the Strava February Fifteen challenge!

I should have snapped a picture but I get a little shy about sticking my camera in the face of someone I just met.

I was sighted by Greenbelt outbound on the MBT this evening as he blasted past me. He slowed down to say hi and was kind enough to offer me his draft, but I don’t think I can keep up with him even sucking wheel, so I let him go.

Sorry I didn’t have time to be more sociable — I had to get home for a SHROW conference call and a Greenbelt planning board meeting… Cargo bikes were representing on the trails last night — I saw several!
