I hardly saw anyone this morning, and definitely no known forum members! What’s going on, people don’t like cold, wet rides?
Should have come to FridayCoffeeclub at Swings! We were all there taking shelter from the cold wet weather

I didn’t see ANYONE on a bike this morning. I was coming in earlier than usual, but it was very odd!

I know, but it’s tough when I have to be at my desk by 8:15 and it’s almost three miles back to Rosslyn. Oh wait, aren’t I always saying I’m looking for an excuse to add extra miles?

I saw 3 different people on the bike today. Much less than usual. I detoured to FridayCoffeeClub and was still the first person in the bike room this morning.

I was in the silver tube of eternal germiness this morning. Wife and I are going to dinner/show after work, so that was just the “easiest” thing to do. I think bike commuting has made me even more anti-social than I used to be. I just can’t handle being surrounded by so many random people, particularly during cold and flu season when half the people in the train are coughing or sniffling. Blech.
I do think I’m going to CaBi from FoBo to dinner though, so at least I’ll get some #BAFS points.

The early crowd usually starts getting there around 0730. Most people are gone by 0900.

ParticipantSince the closure of the mailroom in NEOB, due to increased security following 9/11, messenger deliveries to White House and the Executive Office Buildings have been banned for years now. Clandestine rendezvouses of bike messengers and willing recipients of deliveries to these locations have occurred at this coffee shop.

I did too — where Sunnyside crosses the train tracks. But I didn’t know it was them!
