I thought that might have been you, but I was running late this morning and didn’t pay enough attention – did notice the blue Surly LHT. I’ve mentioned it before, but I like taking the 4MRT from Glencarlyn to Shirlington to avoid all the lights on the W&OD plus I enjoy its undulating topography.

Pretty sure I briefly caught up to DismalScientist at Shirlington Rd/4MR. I lost you when you crossed with traffic and I decided to wait at the x-walk.

Probably not too long after I saw him headed in the opposite direction at the 16 mile post on the MVT, after all, he is fast.

Yep, you never know where you’ll find your friends, lol. Always great to see and ride with you, Dismal Scientist, regardless of where we come across one another!

I also sighted Mr. Antos last night, just long enough to wave and say hello as I rode past much faster than him. It helped that he was standing still with feet on the ground.

In addition to the crowd at coffee club (which can’t be counted because it was a stocked pond), saw Arlingtonrider on her way to work this morning. She was looking quite bundled up and toasty.

I hardly saw anyone this morning, and definitely no known forum members! What’s going on, people don’t like cold, wet rides?
