Thought I heard my name at one point. You were on foot heading east with a light on a lanyard?
Had an nice steady ride with dcv.Yah, that was me on foot heading to get the offspring. I keep a white blinky on my shoe and a red on my pants to be visible to cyclists. I saw you coming and going. Thanks for calling your pass on the way back east!

Thanks so much for putting up with my riding this morning. Riding in with you the day after riding out with dcv really hammered home how lucky I am to have this commute.
Great start to what turned into a crazy day.February 1, 2013 at 1:18 pm #961767americancyclo

Great start to what turned into a crazy day.It was a pleasure to ride with a fixed gear rider, to help adjust my usual perspective (and my commute route) Great chatting about travels as well. Hope you got everything done you had to do.

If you see an idiot with a moustache rolling right up Annandale road, that’s me.

ParticipantSaw RootChopper yesterday biking back from the Hybla Valley Petsmart Lost Dog Rescue adoption event.
Saw RootChopper again today but he didnt have his distinctive reflective vest on so I didnt recognize him.
Saw ConsularRider who graciously yielded to me on the MVT under the Memorial bridge.
Boy its great when there is no one but us out on the trail!

Yes it was fun. It’s rare for me to get a sighting, even rarer to share a commute. Thanks for the nice conversation, and setting a good crisp pace.

ParticipantSaw ConsularRider peel off the W&OD for 4MRT, thought that was the last I’d see of him, and then he passed me on the 4MRT after Shirlington.
