Hello — Saw a few of you while counting trail users at the Custis and Ballston Connector this morning.

Here I am with Dismal Scientist and dcv:

I also took a picture with RESTONTODC, but it didn’t turn out because we had our backs to the sun. Doh! Between that and forgetting to photograph Guy Continental yesterday afternoon, I’m batting .500.

Saw ArlingtonRider Saturday afternoon doing the bike/ped counts on the 4MRT just east of I-395. Have also seen OneEight a couple times recently, including this morning. I think he has been trying to go incognito with the facial hair.

After breaking my legs off at Hains Point, I met up with The Man in Black and he proceeded to pace me up the climbs in Rosslyn. All I could do is yell “I HATE MY LEGS! THEY MUST DIE!” They did. When they showed signs of life, I hit them again… and again. In the end I fed them Meat in a Box and the dance I was doing would be best described as “The Ruptured Duck”.

I can’t wait to do it again tomorrow. Bad legs! MUST BE PUNISHED!

Another reason to love bike commuting – the timing worked out perfectly today and my wife passed the house on CaBi after dropping Gremlin #1 at school, just as I was leaving the house after dropping Gremlin #2 at daycare, so we got to ride together down 14th St.

Spotted americancyclo yesterday on the W&OD around 6:00pm heading west. No photographic proof though…

Had a brief but nice visit from Shawn of the Dread near the 14th Street bridge yesterday, but no photographic proof either. Great to see him.

Awesome ride home around 8:00 pm last night. It helped to compensate for making today a clothes switch day.
