I spotted OneEigth coming over the 14th Street Bridge at approximately 7:30am on my way back from HP intervals. He looked particularly distinguished in his top hat shaped helmet and monocle. He appeared to be riding one handed with a teacup in the other, and what I found most fascinating was that he had apparently trained a choir of kittens to mew in unison in place of ringing a bell to call his passes.
Did the little kittens have top hats too?

ParticipantI passed eminva on her shinny White/Red Cannondale yesterday afternoon. The frame is very reflective.
I always to keep my bike clean but I can’t keep it up. Someday, I’m going pull in the Carwash on route 7 under WOD in Falls church and ask them to hand wash my bike.

Ha ha! I just gave it the full spa treatment this weekend. Now how long will it last before it is a muddy mess again? I narrowly missed the rain this morning. We’ll see how long my luck lasts.
Good seeing you yesterday.

Not if their Manx cats. After all, you should only wear a top hat with tails.

ParticipantWasn’t a top hat.
Was a pith helmet.
Suits the Lemmy Kilmister better.
Think Color Sergeant Bourne (I should be so worthy…)September 7, 2012 at 12:35 am #950551Dirt
ParticipantThink GuyContinental and I crossed paths near Custis Mile 0. He was churning up the hill and I was rolling down. Sun was in my eyes, but it looked like him.

I was turning right onto Lee Highway. I saw 2 cyclists near the intersection, but didn’t see who they were. I had a Lexus tailgating me on West street and I was more concerned with him than many other things. Rock on, sir!

ParticipantSaw this SUPER curious little guy? (with his mama and brother/sister by the road side) this morning early. The herd(?) didn’t run off when I stopped next to them. There were 4 of them, and they continued to munch grass while I casually took my camera out, and stripped my jacket off and panniered it.
Deer by certifried, on FlickrI’m 99.9% sure if I had some food to feed this little guy, he would’ve come up to me and taken it. It was VERY curious about me and didn’t seem to be threatened much at all. After a couple of cars rolled by, I realized how dangerous it was for them to get any level of comfort so close to the road, and shooed him off.

Did you show it a picture of your avatar to scare it away?
