Also saw KelOnWheels by DCA…I recognized her from happy hour, but have never formally introduced myself, so I didn’t want to yell at her like a crazy person.
Oh please do, I’m terrible at figuring out who people are and I’d like to be able to recognize more people out on the trails

ParticipantRode home with OneEighth and Consularrider yesterday. Tried to run over Consularrider again this morning, but he dove out of the way at the last moment.

ParticipantAmericancyclo on the W&OD as I was heading into town. I am pretty sure I saw Liz right after she turned onto the W&OD from the Custis, but we were both moving along well and I was solving the problems of the universe at the time. Rode part of the way home last night with The Furry Face of the Bureau (aka OneEighth), Ann too.
Awesome to see y’all. This week was amazing for sightings. Sorry that I didn’t get to see EVERYONE. It was close though.

Yep, that was me, and I saw acc, too. I was not moving along fast; I ran out of gas about 15 miles short of finishing my 15 mile ride home. All I was thinking was, “I didn’t leave anything on the table for the National Bike Challenge.” I do hope you solved all the problems of the universe!

I didn’t solve all of them, but one of them was solved when I found a REALLY CUTE, pink hunting knife at Casual Adventure for only $100! Who said money can’t buy you happiness?
Editor’s note: Please disregard the above post. It was obviously written by a complete idiot.

ParticipantDismal Scientist spotted this morning at 8:05am at the corner of Clarendon and Oak Street by the Starbucks/Verizon Store in Rosslyn.
He appeared to be doing a one handed track stand. I was pretending to be a pedestrian so was completely incognito.

I thought that was you on the sidewalk, but I generally only make loud catcalls to folks on the sidewalk if they are women.

ParticipantSaw Rootchopper heading home on the MVT.
Trails seemed emptier today. Everyone still out of the office, or do the trails quiet down this early? (This will be my first autumn riding.)

ParticipantI spotted OneEigth coming over the 14th Street Bridge at approximately 7:30am on my way back from HP intervals. He looked particularly distinguished in his top hat shaped helmet and monocle. He appeared to be riding one handed with a teacup in the other, and what I found most fascinating was that he had apparently trained a choir of kittens to mew in unison in place of ringing a bell to call his passes.

I was particularly pleased to catch up with Dirt before he knew I was there. Then he slowed to be accomodate other traffic and to be gracious to me (a slower rider without a doubt).
Good seeing you!
