    no no no…. i woulda loved that low five or even a hug, but as a Saddle Guardian who stands on pedals I was ill-positioned to let go at that very moment! Next time I see you I’ll make up for it… :) w&w

    Truth be told, I drove in, parked around the block, poured water on my head to make it look like I had worked up a sweat, and only really rode one block to the office.

    Had a Henry D sighting yesterday morning in Rosslyn. He’d just completed the bike train from EFC. He was on the BA bakfiets and seemed worried he was about to run out of battery and would have to use human power.

    I met Amanda (sorry, don’t know the username) for the first time at Tuesday’s CCCC, and today we had a flyby on the MVT by the airport. Amanda, apologies for not recognizing you quickly enough to say hi on the trail, so a belated hi via the Forum!

    I love it when things like coffee club expand my bike community.

    Spent the week off the bike outside of San Diego at a seismic test (which was, for the record, way cool). Final shake was 150% of Northridge.
