Saw Dirt on the Custis by the Marriott and exchanged the proper greetings: “We’re all gonna die!” And “We should go on a bike ride!” Always nice to see another friendly face.

Rode in the opposite direction to wheels & wings this morning (on 15th Street, right by W&L High School). I nodded but doubt I was recognizable given that I was wearing every single article of cycling related clothing I own!

I saw you and I sensed I knew you, but I couldn’t make out who you were! Good morning.
I was probably wearing more clothes than you, at least on my leg…sitting here at my desk I noticed a lump in the knee of my pants. To my surprise, I proceeded to pull out a T-shirt, a relic of my last laundry! No wonder my pants seemed so warm and comfy on the morning commute. Guess I should check the mirror more often!

I was cheerfully greeted on this morning’s commute on the WOD before sunrise by Fast Friendly Guy, who was taking the long route to HDCC. Unfortunately I had to be at work by 7AM, so I couldn’t join him. But given that we both looked like bundled up bank robbers, we had to ask “who are you?” Thanks FFG for making my day!

I bumped into Rod & his trailer on his way home last night while riding with @SarahB on the MBT, on our #bikeforumbicycletag quest to find the labrynth at the Franciscan Monastery near Catholic University. He had a 12-pack of special edition Sierra Nevada pale ale on his trailer, and I regret not escorting me all the way home to unpack it;-)

Rockford and I spotted wheels&wings on the W&OD today, near Little Falls Street. She was the only other cyclist we saw out there on our nine mile loop. (#BAFS2016)
