Rockford and I exchanged cheerful waves with Dismal on the W&OD this afternoon. He’s pretty easy to spot.

I saw DCV and mini-DCV whizzing down Fairwood Lane toward West Street in Falls Church yesterday late morning while I was driving my car home in the opposite direction. It inspired me to get on my roadie and do a second ride later that afternoon. Thanks for the inspiration.

I spotted him heading westbound coming off the 495 overpass on the W&OD. Did they kick him off that island he was riding on?

It was great running into KayakCyndi and doing a Hains Point lap with her this evening… the company and weather were so pleasant that I enjoyed the somewhat… mechanical musical accompaniment provided courtesy of her bottom bracket! :p
