Great meeting you, Steve O – and a great idea to move the salt over. Good to ride with you for a little while, and with a bonus Dickie + consularrider sighting to boot.

I’ve been trying to get out to FCC, but mornings are constrained by dropping off Miss slowtriguy at school and the day job shortly thereafter. I’m hoping to be there next time FCC and school break correspond, though.

I’ve crossed paths with Brad Fry (mococylist) before since our routes happen to overlap going in opposite directions. But today with the first time we’ve run into each other twice in the same day at the same place!

Flyby of wheels&wings on the Custis just west of the switchback about 8:40am. She yelled, “You’re going the wrong way,” which is probably applicable to more than just my bike riding.

Went inside and, lo and behold, there was Rod Smith warming up with a cup of coffee.

I believe I encountered kayakcyndi and another rider impersonating a motor vehicle by the East Falls Church soccer field about 6 pm, and as I approached they turned into a perdiddle.

Ran into Chris F on the Custic this evening – he was far more sensible than I – he ran home and then sleazed. I biked home then ate too much.

The red wine was necessary. But I digress…

Great company the past two evenings. Punched holes in the wind with shawnofthedread last night. Circled Haines Point with bikeeverday and rode the W&OD with PowerfulPete tonight.

I was happy to see others out this morning including BA’s own Erin on the Custis moguls near the Bridge to Nowhere, Dismal at 16th and Glebe, and I believe Subby on the Custis.

Late, but about a week ago, I saw Senor Cannon leaving with a pie. For once, it was he who was leaving when I arrived.

Also crossed paths with Phatboing on my new, later hours commute. Recognized the beard and big grin!
