Rod Smith sighting on 19th street this morning. I offered a sandwich hand up in passing, but he waved it off. He has an internal fusion reactor for fuel I think.

I half-heartedly attempted a mid five with FFG this morning and failed. As of now, I have yet to successfully execute a high, mid, low five with a forum member without crashing.

Flyby of wheels&wings on the Rosslyn hill in the rain after lunch. Traded a friendly wave.

Rode with Chris Watson one of our NBC team ringers (i.e. not a forum member yet), 1st place female in state of VA, 4th placed All-Star, from Rosslyn to the W&OD. Worked hard trying to keep up. She did have to wait (slow roll) at the top of the hills. Rode with Dickie who needs no introduction (10th placed All-Star by the way) from the W&OD Falls Church Lee Highway crossing to the Custis. The miles ridden with Dickie not fast but the fastest miles I rode today. Sighted Robert Cannon on the Custis. Fun to ride in NoVa. All the cool people ride there.

Hey Rod, I saw you coming down the Rosslyn hill, it was dark and only realized it was you after we passed. Also saw OneEighth on the Curtis.

And I had a nice ride up the W&OD with Dismal just before we crossed paths, dcv. The fixed quotient was high yesterday.

I kinda figured our paths would cross. I was lucky to recognize anyone. Only reason I sighted RCannon he was passing under a streetlight (path light?).

Sighted Bilsko somewhere between Williamsport, MD and Shepherdstown, WV early Friday morning and rode with him for a while until he dropped me.
