ParticipantThink I may have seen klizotte sitting in the grass taking in the view along the Potomac across from the ballfields by the FDR Memorial yesterday evening on my way down Ohio Ave, but not sure…???
I didn’t have time to slow and see if my hunch was right. If it were wrong, it could have been really awkward anyway, so I just pedaled on.

ParticipantWas this thread’s namesake passing through the 15th and Maine intersection a bit after 5 this afternoon? He was riding a red steed.

ParticipantThe Man in Black…. wearing white…. after Labor Day….. I’m confused!
First ride for the Langster in a while. Damn good to see you on 2 wheels again, sir. That lawn chair you were riding for a while just plain sucked.

I’m all about challenging expectations.
Yes, dbb, I limped through 15th and Maine a bit after 5, but as you can tell, if I’m only getting to Harrison via 4MR around 6, I’m not much faster than I was when riding the lawn chair…

From the dates on the sign in the photo, it appears this photo was actually taken next summer and sent back in time.

Having tried to keep up with Mr. Eighth, he rides pretty fast. So fast that Dr. Einstein’s theory may have been demonstrated.

ParticipantThey spent decidedly less than $6 million when they rebuilt my foot, so, unfortunately, I am fast no more.

Unfortunately, there were no bikes involved…

ParticipantHigh five with Fast Friendly D yesterday on Custis west of Ballston
Ran into Rod Smith just a little bit ago while I was Cabi-ing back from DC to Rosslyn on the Roosevelt Bridge. He was photographing some birds in the river. Chatted for a few minutes.
