Ran into dirt on Virginia Lane after his epic day on the bike today.
Then rpiretti (formerly know as rando guy) at Gallows Road:
I so rpiretti (FKARG) and DCV on the way home from my stupid (but fun) day on the bike too.
Hi DCV!I saw a ton of others out on the road, trail and having coffee today. Awesome to see so many people enjoying a rainy day.

Yessir, you did! I said “hi” too quietly — didn’t realize at first who you were before I took a better look. Good to see you.

ParticipantDickie and I crossed one another today and did an epic high-five around the Rt. 7 bridge. The hand sting was worth it.

ParticipantOn my new commute from Adams Morgan to Silver Spring, I see a lot of riders coming down Kansas and 3rd Street NW up into Takoma Park. Anyone ride that route?

ParticipantI saw DaveK, Tim Kelley, all the other ArlCo Daves, Dirt -and I’m sure other forum-all-stars, though I’m drawing a blank now- at the Bikometer unveiling in Arlington. Fun times. Yes, I was late to work. Later than DaveK late to work, which is bad.

Totally bummed I couldn’t be there. I work about 400 yards away, but I had a 10am meeting I could not bag out of. Anyway, I’ll add my +1 to the counter on the way home tonight.

Hmm. I’m going to be one of the ones only adding single digit counts to the counter on commuting days, since I only cross the intersection of doom on my return to DC. In the mornings, I go through the hotel parking lot from the west side of key bridge.

I was there in my BikeArlington jersey, but I don’t know what anyone else looks like except TK and Dirt…

I should have introduced myself. I was in the hi-vis jacket with the yellow bike (Raleigh R500, yellow handlebar tape, tires have orange sidewalls). I was talking to Paul right in front of you for a bit. Then I got tired of standing still and walked around to take a few pictures.

Oooh I figured that was someone on here but wasn’t sure who. I think you’re the other person in this picture who couldn’t let your bike out of sight: (from BA facebook album)

Well, I usually am across the street from the counter, so I’ll be the invisible cyclist as far as it’s concerned. And how many people do we have on the forum working in the Rosslyn area? We should have a weekday outdoor lunch soon.

Like that idea! BikeArlington (Tim & Chris) can come, too, since they’re nearby also. Let’s start another thread. Perhaps a (1st,2nd,3rd,4th) Mon/Tue/Wed (pick your day) lunch club to add to the already existing morning FCCs? RLC = Rosslyn Lunch Club. I’m in.

RLB = Rosslyn Lunch Bunch.
RSP = Rosslyn Snack Pack.
RGC = Rosslyn Grub Club. -
