So, the story behind the name … in 8th grade I was a very shy kid, just back in the US (MN) from 8 years in Madagascar and I had to give a presentation in my English class. I went to the front of the class, but before I could start several of the kids started asking “How do you spell your name, anyway!?”. I may not have been a fan of my name as a kid, but I still thought the question was ridiculous. So I wrote “Hozn” on the board. It kinda stuck as a written (but not really spoken) nickname. So I just pronounce it “Hans”

Saw GB as I was locking my bike up at work Thursday morning. Of course, the reason we even saw each other is that I was almost an hour late for work, but it was a pleasant sighting. My jet lag from my LA trip had a delay of a few days, it seems.

Overslept and missed the friday commuter caravan, crossed paths with hozn on the way to FCCII.

L-R: dirt, culimerc (going the wrong way on a fri), dickie’s back, consularrider, eminva (who ran / cabi’d to fccii – awesome) and dismal scientist in casual wear.
Wait, what’s dickie doing?

Then rode into dc with sjclaeys and ran into cara and peter.
