Was she rocking her new shiny, Hozen-built wheels?
Not yet – Hopefully next week! Darn job is keeping me from picking them up at a reasonable hour.

Yeah, good to see you both.
And dvc … and Dirt! I wasn’t sure who Dirt was riding with; I assumed dcv, but didn’t see on account of fog, lights, etc. Then I saw dcv shortly thereafter so ruled that out
Beautiful morning for a bike ride.

He’s usually too fast to spot in the wild.

No worries! I wasn’t actually going to coffee — just work. Those guys were just turning around. Sometime when my schedule allows it I’ll join y’all.

ParticipantFirst days back in the saddle in a month and I spot eminva last night, possibly dkel on the Custis and Dread this morning… nice to see friendly faces after a tough month. Oh… sorry, pretty sure I caused the snow!

Welcome back! And don’t worry….on the 16th I cleaned both my bikes. It snowed 8 inches the next day. I felt very guilty.

Not I, sir: I only get out on the Custis on weekends; my commute is reverse, and all W&OD.

I replaced my chain and cassette over the weekend, so this one might be my fault, too. I rode Bikeshare today.

I purposefully DIDN’T clean my commuter over the weekend, and that didn’t stave off the snow. I’m starting to suspect nothing we do has any effect on the weather…it’s out to get us regardless!!!

I was specifically holding off on a chain and cassette replacement until after this snow just in case I ended up riding through salty slushy yuckiness. All that is to say that if the forecast for the end of the week and the weekend goes from 60s to cold and snowy, it’ll probably be my fault.
