    Rockford10 and I got to talk with Arlingtonrider at Best Buns this morning. I was thrilled since I never seem to see anyone when I ride–anyone I know, at least.

    I seem to only spot the titular man OFF the bike, as happened yesterday at Home Depot. In fact, I have to wonder if he even owns a bike anymore…

    Saw him on one Friday afternoon. I just don’t know what he could be buying for a fixie at Home Depot.

    Many possible sightings this evening. GB heading east on the Custis, TwoWheelsDC on the Potomac Ave bridge over 66, and jnva flying up Lee Hwy from Rosslyn on the e-bike.

    Dang, sorry I missed you. I saw Hans and mini-Hans on the Westover side, though. Mini-Hans was on a little bike but Hans was walking…I couldn’t quite tell and I don’t want to accuse, but I think I spotted a Garmin on the kid’s bike, and I suspect Hans May be using that to pad his #BAFS score.

    Now that is a brilliant idea! Today we probably would have gotten the 1 mile sleaze ride too. I was proud of him being able to “ride” (strider) the whole way to the trains.

    My 16 month old is obsessed with my 3yo’s strider bike, even though the handlebars come up to his shoulders. He insists on wearing his helmet and pushing the strider around saying “bikey, bikey, bikey”. Monday, he saw my husband’s Garmin plugged into a computer and insisted it be put on the strider, which we accomplished with kitchen rubber bands. He did about 20 laps of the living room like that. “bikey, bikey, bikey”

    I was so proud. :-)

    Probably was me you saw. The obelisk in Rosslyn makes me faster, I’ve noticed.

    My older child wanted to ride some sidewalk laps with the Strava app to increase my speed so I could win the pointless 7th slowest #bafs prize. :-)

    Yesterday I ran into OneEighth, while riding / chatting side-by-side on the Custis at Key Bridge Marriott a cyclist split the middle and passed between us. WTF, so tempted to do the Malachi crunch.

    On a better note, ran into Dirt this morning – he was chaperoning Tania on her first bike commute (ever). Unfortunately Dirt got a flat (second one in 24 hours), thanks bikevangelist Pete.
