    Great to see you as well. I would never call myself an early riser, but my schedule is in complete shambles right now as we closed on our house yesterday so I’m working weird hours to accomodate repair people, service people, and god knows who else. I had myself in such a good rhythm for a while…

    Did I pass Dickie on the Custis this morning, right at the Fairfax connector? I was on my Cannondale wearing a bright orange jacket. You were wearing a balaclava and I only got a quick glance as I was doing a head-check, so I wasn’t sure.

    I saw OneEighth this morning on my way to Custis, got excited, and waved frantically. Thanks for waving back and saying hello rather than being alarmed =D

    Was just about to catch up to culimerc this morning when he crossed Gallows and I had to make the left. I said “HI” as we parted ways but pretty sure he didn’t recognize me in my “bank robber” outfit. Regardless, good to see a friendly face this morning.

    My kid was wondering why I waved to you. I explained that I always wave when I think I’m on camera. Had a Dreadfully nice encounter shortly after seeing you.
    Sure beats the don’t-acknowledge-anyone world of commuting by car or public transit.

    Is there a woman regular commuter here, who comes through Vienna at about 7:30? You yelled greetings to me today as we passed, near the Vienna Community center. “HI”

    Good seeing Dismal this morning just as I had a “missed connection” of sorts. Dismal was rocking a new hybrid he got. Good seeing you sir. Haven’t seen Dickie but once in a couple of weeks, I’m starting to get a little misty eyed on the trail on the account of not seeing him.

    I think we’re on different schedules now… I’m still riding everyday but earlier than before…. it is weird not seeing you everyday!

    I was riding SE on W&OD between Wilson and Columbia Pike this morning with Consularider when you passed us after a plank bridge. I recognized you because our paths cross on many mornings. Chris told me who you were. So THAT’S who you are! I’ve read your posts. Nice to meet you, Tom (if only briefly).
