I noticed it when I rode by, but just attributed it to the driver being eccentric or something…

Yup, that was me. I made a too-late attempt to call out or wave or something when I realized it was you guys . I slept in this AM so didn’t go to coffee club. (I was thinking I would have been the only one anyway, but maybe not had I gotten there early enough!)

Two sightings on this fine Fall Sunday. One on and one off the bike. Consularrider heading south on the MVT near Belle Haven(on the bike—hope the return trip treated you well; it was quite the headwind). And, Baiskeli and family off the bike (hope the kilt didn’t provoke too many questions this evening—chalk it up to Halloween if it helps…)

I thought that might have been you. Unfortunately, it was just a dental appointment in Silver Spring.
(And the dreaded GBT got another of my tubes, although the actual flat waited for a few miles on the CCT.)

Spotted DCV this morning on the WOD with what appeared to be a very large bag of laundry on his back, either that or he’s hanging out in bell towers again! Saw Rando a few minutes later.

Saw rcannon, Jeremy, and Rootchopper at the Elk Run reststop and a the finish in Warrenton of the Great Pumpkin Ride.

The Great Pumpkin Ride was wonderful! All the pumpkin pie you can eat (while riding 43 miles – or in the case of some people…. 100 miles) John Roche was there too.
